Beyonce Knowles is finally breaking her silence aboutKanye West storming the stage at the VMAs to declare that she should have won Best Female Video instead ofTaylor Swift.
"Well, I knew his intentions, and I knew he was standing up for art; and he told me before, when they said the nominees, he's like, 'You have this award,'" Beyonce, 28, told O: The Oprah magazine editor at large Gayle King (viaMTV News) at the Billboard Awards over the weekend, when she was named Woman of the Year.

Your Sports Gossip: Why Can’t Iverson Get a Job?
Dr. Deborah Stroman, a leading scholar on Leadership and Sport, was asked why Allen Iverson can’t find a job. Here is what she had to say. Other notable athletes, Edgerrin James, Marvin Harrison and Derrick Brookes are also on the sidelines.
“Money is only one aspect of a good veteran not being picked up by a team. The other factor is leadership. If the organization is trying to develop new leaders, the coach and/or general manager will not gamble the new leader’s development and team chemistry with the introduction of a veteran leader. And this veteran leadership may be displayed by performance or verbal acumen. For example, you may have a veteran wide receiver or running back who doesn’t talk much but has the potential to dominate on the field. A younger player may be drawn to that performer as a role model and not the new leader (often times the quarterback) who is trying to gain influence and control of “his” team. Or the veteran leader may be charismatic and draw attention to himself and away from the leaders that the organization is rightfully trying to impose on the other players. The organization feels that the signing of the veteran player is just not worth the risk.”

Celebrity News: Judge Puts the HAMMER down on Chris Brown!
A judge on Tuesday sentenced Chris Brown to five years' probation and six months' community labor for the beating of Rihanna and ordered the R&B singer to stay away from his former girlfriend for the next five years.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg told Brown that he could be sent to state prison if he violated any terms of his sentence, including an order to stay 100 yards away from Rihanna unless they're attending music industry events.
A probation report prepared for Tuesday's sentencing describes two previous violent incidents. It said the first happened about three months before the February beating while the couple was traveling in Europe; Rihanna slapped Brown during an argument, and he shoved her into a wall. In the second instance, Brown allegedly broke the front and passenger side windows on a Range Rover they were driving while visiting Barbados, Rihanna's home country. Neither attack was reported, the probation report states.

Member of the Diplomats and Leader of the Skull Gang, rapper Juelz Santana was arrested today for domestic abuse. According to reports, Santana allegedly threatened to kill his wife.
Reports show that a 911 call was placed by his wife early this morning during an altercation between the two in their home in Teaneck, New Jersey. Whatever was said in the phone call clearly did the trick as the rapper was arrested on domestic battery charges, although she was not in need of any

In anticipation for the documentary film More Than A Game, the stakes may have risen to a boiling point as a dream collaboration may be in the works for the soundtrack.
There have been rumors circulating that a song featuring Wayne, Drake, Kanye West and Eminem is in the process and will be featured for the film. Reports have even taken it as far as stating that the track will be available Friday on iTunes.

Now that the trial is over and Corey “C-Murder” Miller has been convicted for murder, a juror now steps up to state that foul play happened in casting the votes and declaring that Miller was indeed guilty.

G-Unit Employee Due In Court For Assault Charge

An employee of 50 Cent's G-Unit empire is due in court today for his second assault charge in three months. 27-year old Dwayne Mckenzie is facing criminal charges for attacking an unidentified woman and holding her down so another woman could beat her.
The incident happened August 16 at 50's 50,000 square foot mansion in Connecticut. According to the unidentified woman, he asked her for oral sex. When she refused, one of her friends jumped to her defense and began to argue with him. When the woman and her friend tried to leave, they were attacked by 21-year old

Troy Davis Gets a Little Help with his Execution
The United States Supreme Court has granted Troy Davis' request to postpone his execution in yet another attempt to clear his name and prove his innocence.
Davis is an inmate that was sentenced to death after the 1989 murder of a Savannah, GA police officer. Since his incarceration, Davis has gained international support behind his claims of innocence.
Justice John Paul Stevens ordered a federal judge to "receive testimony and make findings of fact as to whether evidence that could not have been obtained at trial clearly establishes petitioner's innocence."
Among the supporters of the motion were Justices Ruth Bader and Stephen Breyer. The newest member of the high court Sonia Sotomayor, however, did not participate in the petition. "Brother" Clarence Thomas did however and was one of two judges that dissented their reasons for not taking another look at the case and going ahead and killing Davis.
In the last year or so, Davis' case has been quite turbulent, even being granted a stay of execution just two hours before he was to be put to death.
Despite the execution delay, Davis will continue to sit on death row, reports CNN.
Davis insists that he is innocent of the charges brought upon him in the murder of Officer Mark MacPhail. Witnesses claimed they saw Davis, then 19, and two other men harassing a homeless man in a Burger King parking lot when officer MacPhail arrived to the help the man. Witnesses identified Davis as the shooter claiming he shot MacPhail twice and fled on foot.
Since the 1991 conviction, however, seven of the nine witnesses have recanted their testimonies. In addition to the witnesses reneging, no physical evidence was ever presented to the trial jury or court.

When Terrell Owens decided to let the world know he would debut a reality show on VH1, he posed nude in promotional shots that were featured in magazines and on billboards. "Keeping it sexy," as he calls it. (See "sexy" photo of Terrell Owens in the Reality Bites gallery below)
He is quick to remind TV viewers that it's hard work making sure he "looks good naked," but that beyond the attention-grabbing pictures, he hopes people will tune in to see a different side of him.
Owens (widely referred to as "T.O.") has never been someone to mince words. The six-time NFL all-star has garnered widespread criticism for his outspoken demeanor, yet his VH1 reality series ('The T.O. Show'), which premiered last month, uncovers a softer side of the Alabama native.

WTF? NBA Ballers Doing Old School Rap…..Ugh!
Every now and then an athlete will feel the need to grab a microphone and rap about how much money they got, how well they play on the field, or how nice they look when they're dunking on people's faces. And when these athletes do feel the need to kick a rhyme or two, we as a sports loving community of fans let them know that.... it's not a very good idea.
Now we have the huge corporation of Nike along with Foot Locker working against our efforts. In a new commercial, Nike recruited Mo Williams, Kevin Durant and Rashard Lewis, collectively known as the Hyperizers, to spit some lyrics over an old school hip-hop beat that appears to be produced by DJ Quik (who makes a cameo in the video). The video, "Don't Criticize (Hyperize)," features the ballers wearing late 80's and early 90's hip-hop garb, walking down the street with their crews, and playing basketball on outdoor courts. Sure the video is all in fun, but we don't want to give them any ideas do we? Check out the video below:

Man Waits for Obama with a Gun and Police Let Him Stay?
Earlier today MSNBC aired a segment showing a man with a loaded gun waiting for President Barack Obama to arrive at a town hall on health care reform at a high school in Portsmouth, N.H., and reportedly the local chief of police had no problem with it.
The man is carrying a sign that says, "It Is Time to Water the Tree of Liberty." That's a reference to a Thomas Jefferson quote: "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants." It was a favorite slogan of Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh, who was wearing a T-shirt when he was arrested with a picture of Lincoln on the front and a tree dripping with blood on the back.Click to read more.

Making the Band Member Stabs Her Husband
Sarah Stokes was a member of P. Diddy’s first season of Making the Band and if you watched the show I am sure you remember her controlling husband Tony and their three children. Last week Sara was arrested for assaulting her husband with a deadly weapon. Read below to see how everything went down.

Sara stormed out of the house after arguing with husband Tony —she tripped, fell down and accused him of doing it. She hurt her head in the fall — grabbed a knife and stabbed Tony in the arm

“Sara and Tony have a very passionate and loving relationship that on August 2, while having an evening of fun, she slipped and fell, hitting her head heavily on the ground and somehow in the process of helping her Tony got injured.”
The worst part is that all of this supposedly happened in front of the children.

She's the female artist who has spent the most weeks at No. 1 this century with five No. 1 singles, she is the woman with the most Top 5 hits since 2000, and she has the most hits in the Top 10 with a dozen.
Her latest, and third, solo album "I Am … Sasha Fierce" — named after her onstage alter ego (who sounds like a Tyra Banks character) — is one of the best-selling albums of the year. With more than 2 million in sales, the album is still in the Top 30 after 34 weeks; its latest million-selling single, "Halo," is still in the Top 15 after 25 weeks. Its newest release "Ego" is No. 2 on the R&B charts.
